A friend and I went out the other night for some exploring around Ybor City. We veered south, away from the crowds of the 7th avenue strip, and found ourselves around some large factories and warehouses. There are many of these in this area, some dating back to the early 1900's, others like the ones pictured above, are modern in construction.

It was eerily quiet in the late hours of the night. Lights from street lamps hit objects below and cast long shadows across the ground and walls of the buildings. A couple of men, who greeted us as they passed, and a strangely out-of-place jogger, were the only others we happened across during our evening.
